Configuring iPhone / iPod Touch for MUSC’s Exchange Server

1. From the Home screen, select “Settings” (the icon that looks like cogs to right), then “Mail” and “Add Account…”
2. Select “Other” and fill in the following:
a. Name:
b. Address:
c. Description:
d. Incoming Mail Server
1. Host Name: eximap.musc.edu
2. User Name:
3. Password:
e. Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
1. Host Name: smtps.musc.edu
2. User Name:
3. Password:
3. Save the account
4. Go back to the Home screen


5. Select “Settings”, then select “Mail” -> your Exchange
account
6. Scroll down to the bottom and select Advanced
7. Go back into the account you just created and, under
“Advanced” verify the following:
a. Incoming Settings
i. Use SSL: ON
ii. Authentication: Password >
iii. IMAP Path Prefix: /
iv. Server Port: 993
b. Outgoing Settings
i. Use SSL: ON
ii. Authentication: Password >
iii. Server Port: 587
